Sunday saw the Shoot Out competitions at the Temuka Golf Course. Members, who had qualified over the season, played a sudden death format culminating in the eventual winner as the highest scoring player was dropped off at each hole. The Women’s Complete Curtains Shoot Out was won by Robyn Will from, Gay Smith. Robyn was lucky to make the last 2 when she missed a short putt at the penultimate hole but recovered to beat Jenny Bolitho with a better putt in the play off, to progress. However, she made

Temuka ladies bring home the silverware from Champion of Champions
Ladies Champion of Champions Results played at Pleasant Point on Thursday 22 October
Temuka’s team comprising Frances Mulvey, Jenny Bolitho and Lynn Stratford, all played excellent golf over the 36 holes.
Frances won the Best Nett in the Silver Division with a combined nett of 144 (over 36 holes)
Jenny Bolitho won the Peggy Lister Salver, best gross in the Bronze A Division with 176 (over 36 holes)
And the team won the Prue Sanders Rosebowl for the combined team nett over the two rounds with 433

The Temuka Women’s Championship Silver grade was an evenly contested match between Frances Mulvey and Sharon Patrick. Frances started off well and was 2 up after 9. Frances got to 5 up after 15 with a great shot just past the pin. Sharon came back with a good par on 16 and won 17, score 3 up after 18. Second 18 Frances went to 5 up again after 21 holes but Sharon had 2 good pars
