Predicted ‘Weather Bomb’

Temuka’s No. 1 Team has won the Aorangi Women’s 9 – Hole Pennant Title. The
fourth and final round of the Aorangi Women’s nine-hole pennant competition
was held at Pleasant Point.
Going into the last round Temuka had a 14 Stableford point lead over its
nearest rival Timaru 2 and an 18 Point lead over Gleniti.
Gleniti scored well with 70 Stablefords and Timaru 2 with 62, but the
Temuka Team, on the day, of Elizabeth Marryatt, Sue Burgess, Tracey Birt and
