Twilight Golf  Stableford 14 October

Six ladies played in the Aoraki Champion of Champions at Methven in very windy difficult conditions.

Lyn Henderson won the 9 Hole Champion – best nett with a score of 31.

Betty Tarrant, Lyn Henderson and Jenny Niezen won the Gay Henderson trophy (team of Bronze B Champion, runner-up and 9 Hole champion) for the teams nett aggregate with a score of 185.

Six of our lady golfers – Di M, Frances, Willy, Jenny, Glenis and Pam, plus Helena from Pleasant Point GG, and Nancy – Pam’s sister, took time out to attend WOW in Wellington this week.  It was a fantastic vibrant show well worth attending. Along with shopping, time relaxing in bars in between shopping, visit to Te Papa, the cable car, and a walk to Parliament Buildings, no didn’t see any MP’s they were all on holiday, made for a fun couple of days in the city. All went well
