Following the very damp weather during the week the course will be open tomorrow 16 July.
Course continues to be closed till Friday night 15 July – hopefully open Saturday. More info then.
Course closed next two days because of heavy rain.
A small field contested the DG Walker Cup with Rae and Hans Winkelman having a winning score of 86-17.5-68.5; followed by Frances and Brian Mulvey 87-18-69; and 3rd were Gay and Neville Smith.
Pairs contested the RC Walker trophy on Sunday 26 June playing an American Foursome.

The McFarlane trophy was played today in perfect conditions. Two teams of 4 players tied for the honour and glory, with a combined 112 Stablefords.

Yesterday members contested the JD Crisp Family Trophy
– Winners were Father and Son combination, Graeme and Hayden Broker with a score of 66.5 – Congratulations.

Just a reminder to all that on Sunday 8 May we will be playing the JD Crisp Family Trophy – this is a mixed competition for pairs of any family relationship – Mother, Father, Son, Daughter, Brother, Sister, Niece, Nephew, cousin etc. including relationship by marriage.
However, if you don’t fit in to any of the above categories you are most welcome to come along and play anyway as there will no doubt be others who want to come and enjoy the Social Club golf atmosphere.

Temuka Golf Club Requirements for the COVID-19 Protection Framework CPF (traffic lights)
The Temuka Golf Club is complying with the rules for the implementation of the new CPF guidance requirements at 11.59 on 2nd December 2021 and will be implementing the My Vaccine Pass requirements. If you do not hold a valid My Vaccine Pass, you will not be given access to the clubhouse.
Our number one priority is the health, safety and well-being of all golfers and the wider community and interpreting the Government’s guidance accurately is a crucial part of that.

Sunday 23 August 13 teams of two players contested both the above trophies. Because of Covid restrictions earlier in the year the Social Club decided to ‘catch up’ two events on the one day. Therefore the usual format for each trophy was changed to be a combined stableford. Hopefully in 2021 we will be in a position to play the appropriate format for each trophy, as in the past.

On Sunday 8 August, 13 couples played a Foursome, competing for the Married Couples Trophy. The winners are shown here – Faye and Brian Mulvey who had a very competitive score of 95-27-68, followed by Rae and Hans Winkelman 86-16-70; Margaret and Russell Dale 98-20-72; Elizabeth and Dick Marryatt 96-23-73.
